I was using an unofficial WhatsApp version and I was banned from using WhatsApp is this ban temporarily or permanently? Can I remove ban?

Your ban is not permanent, it is temporarily and you have things to do… You will need to uninstall the unofficial version of WhatsApp from your phone immediately and download the official version of the app. If you are keep using the unofficial version of the application, your ban is going to be permanent. So you will need to change your application to official version as soon as possible.
It is strange that they have changed their policy about that. I have been banned permanently because of the same reason.
You can never remove a ban of WhatsApp because they are banning your phone number directly. You can’t do it on your own. You will need to contact to the WhatsApp to learn if your ban is permanent or temporary. However my self opinion is that your ban is permanent. Developers are not tolerating fake versions of the application much.
It is highly likely that your ban is permanent. Using fake, unofficial and illegal versions of WhatsApp generally ends up with the permanent ban. I hope your situation won’t be same though. You can’t remove your ban as Gemini told but you will need to contact WhatsApp for that. If you ban is permanent, you will need to have a new phone number to join WhatsApp once more. I hope you will use the official version to not to face with this problem again.
This is very normal if you used unofficial version of WhatsApp and your ban is permanent. It is because those illegal versions are violating privacy of people with different and sneaky features.
