Hello Lukyind. Unfortunately you can’t do that because WeChat doesn’t allow others to meet people from China. There can be several reason of this. Some people are telling that WeChat is controlled by Chinese government and they don’t want Chinese people to communicate with foreigners. This is can be one of reasons. The other reason is there are too much Chinese people on WeChat and people don’t always want to keep meet them on the application. You can find a Chinese friends on websites like Renren and add them to WeChat.

I think you will need to ask this question separately since it is not related with this question.
There are several ways to make friends from China. However you will need a find a Chinese virtual phone number for that. You will also need to an Android Emulator. I recommend you to not to use your own phone number for this otherwise you are going to get your phone number blocked. It is almost impossible to unblock it nowadays. After you got the virtual phone number, download bluestacks to your phone and select your location as Shanghai or Beijing virtually through the emulator. Then enter download WeChat to emulator and activate it with your virtual phone number. Then go to WeChat shake and click on the shake button of Bluestacks. It will find Chinese people to you!
You can still try meet people from Malaysia and Singapore because there are many Chinese people living in those countries. They generally know Chinese language too. You can practice with them.
I think you can use a VPN application on your Android phone and connect to the Chinese IP. Then you can try meet them. I am not using WeChat though. Not sure if this works but you can give a try.
Good idea but VPN and proxies are forbidden in WeChat. It might get his account blocked.
