I would like to freeze my account on Wechat. How can I do it? I don’t want to use the application for a few months. If someone can help me, I will really appreciate it.

Yes you can freeze your WeChat account. You will need to do the following to freeze an account.
– Run Wechat application on your Android phone.
– Tap chats.
– Select WeChat Team on the conversation list.
– Tap Account.
– Tap Freeze Account.
– Confirm that you really want to freeze your account.

I agree Neddian for this. If you deactivate your account with freezing, you are going to have blocking problem on your phone number. So you are going to be in trouble. However freezing option in the application doesn’t work at the moment. You will need to contact WeChat for this.
Help. How did you unfreeze your account? Im trying but its not working😥
I recommend you to not to do that. I have done it a few months ago and now I can’t unlock my account. I unfreeze it with the WeChat Team but soon after the unfreeze WeChat locked my account and asked me to friend friend log in assistance.
