Hello,
I have asked a question recently about Omegle App on Android Phones. It seems there is not any application of Omegle on Play Store yet. Thanks to Airian, he told me I can use it on the phone. However I need to know that how to use Omegle video chat on Android? I appreciate any help.
To use Omegle video chat on Android, you will need a mobile browser that runs flash. Generally Puffin Browser is known as an Android browser which runs video chat websites. You can use it. You can download Puffin browser from play store, run it on your phone. Then go to Omegle.com through the application and then tap on settings. You need to enable request dekstop site from settings. Then return to the website. You will see the video chat button. Tap on the button, allow Puffin to access your camera and microphone. Begin to talk to strangers.
Basically you need to do these steps:
– Install Puffin Browser to your Android phone.
– Run the app.
– Go to omegle.com.
– Tap on settings.
– Enable request desktop site.
– Watch the video which will Puffin Browser will require you. (To run flash on browser.)
– Tap on Omegle Video Chat.
Thank you very much, does it work on Chrome Android?
I don’t think so. I am not using Chrome on my Android device. I prefer to use Puffin Browser and default Samsung browser. However if you ever want to use Omegle video Chat on Chrome Android, you will need to enable to desktop view. You can test it yourself. The ways should be like that:
– Run Chrome on your Android phone.
– Tap on settings
– Tap “Desktop site”
– Go to Omegle.
– Run the video chat.
I don’t guarantee if this works though. Puffin is guaranteed way to use it at the moment.
As far as I know, it was possible to use Omegle video on Android version of Chrome about 4 years ago. May be more… But I think it is not available at the moment.
You can use Omegle as same as Aussie told. You can also use many applications on Play Store which looks like Omegle though. Chatous and many other chat apps are very useful.
I believe there is not any reliable way to make use it on Android or any other mobile devices. I have tried it with Puffin but I was banned.
