However you will need to find a good one. Sometimes WeChat can detect those phone numbers and it is not allowing you to register. It is highly likely that because of a service provider. You can find some unique phone numbers from some companies on internet. There are also sim card sellers for international phones on Amazon. You can try purchase from them. This will cost you a few bucks but if WeChat is important for you, it will save the life.
Getting a unique virtual phone number will cost you as well. However in your situation I would certainly have a virtual phone or look for a sim card in Amazon. I recommend you to have a card from a EU country. They block US phone numbers really quick.
