I am getting “Waiting for this message. This may take a while.” error on WhatsApp. Why do I get that? Any solution for this?
“Waiting for this message. This may take a while.” error occurs because of two different reasons. Any of these reasons is not related with your phone and your settings. This error occurs because of a problem in your friend’s phone. If your friends are getting this error message while they talk to you, You will need to check the tips below. I hope these are going to work for you.
There are two different reasons of the error as we have already told above, these are:
– You/your friend reinstalled WhatsApp and the application is still doing the encryption work. This won’t take too much time. You can wait for a short time and it will be fixed.
– You/your friend’s connection is too slow. When internet connection is slow, the encryption system also works slow on WhatsApp. That’s why you or your friend is getting this problem while you are messaging. If your internet connection is slow, you can try change your network. If your friend’s connection is slow, you can recommend him/her to connect a Wifi.
