Wechat doesn’t run on my phone after I updated it. I don’t know the reason. I have installed it to my Samsung phone again but nothing works. It is really getting annoying. Anyone can help me about it. I just installed the application in a month ago.
This is actually the common problems of the applications. Sometimes they don’t run after updates because of bugs, conflicts and storage problems. When developer updates those apps, sometimes they can be conflicts with other application you use and also conflicts with the operating system that you use… I recommend you to contact to WeChat staff first and report your bug issue. Then you will need to check these.
Firstly you will need to check your phone storage. Check if there is enough space on your phone. Otherwise some application will stop working on your phone. If there is not enough spaces on your phone, remove applications that you don’t use. Backup your pictures and videos to a PC and remove them also.
The second thing you should check if your phone’s memory is working without any problem. I recommend you to use a cleaner application to use your memory more effectively. Some Android OS versions have this ability. However if you don’t have. You can download an app from Play Store. Most of them are free.
There can be also a conflict with another outdated application (or up to date app too) or your operating system. You should update all of your applications and your operating system if there is any new version release. Then remove some applications that you don’t use on your phone.
