This is one of the common issues of the recent update. There are four options for you to fix this problem… Or… Let’s call it as to do list… You should pick one of those…
Since it is a known bug of the current version, you can do the following:
– Contact WhatsApp. (Recommended for notify the bug but I don’t think that they will fix the bug immediately for you.)
– Reinstall the application.
– Download an older version of WhatsApp from an APK website. (Recommended websites: APKPure, APKMirror.)
– Wait for the new update.
Firstly we recommend you to leave a feedback through Play Store and contact to WhatsApp about your problem. You can do it through sending a message to [email protected].
Reinstalling the application is also help you to fix problems related with the application update.
The other way is APK websites and downloading older version of WhatsApp messenger from those websites. However don’t forget it, this is just do it for your own risk thingie. So we can’t recommend any websites to you with 100% safety guarantee.
If you can’t fix the problem yet, you will need to wait to new update. Generally WhatsApp devs are fixing bugs and glitches in a few days.
You will need to check if the application is working at background first. Please go to settings of your phone and then apps. Find WhatsApp from the list and tap on WhatsApp. Select Battery and enable “Allow background activity”. Then go to settings of your phone again and select “Always on Display”.
Hello,
This can be also about a bug with your device, if you tell your phone support service about your problem, maybe they are going to find a solution for this. I had the same issue with my Xiaomi a few years ago. They have fixed the problem through a new update.
