I can’t download or install anything from Google Play Store at the moment. It tells me download pending. However this never lasts at the moment. I couldn’t even download or install WhatsApp or one single app for days. I am using Oppo R15.

It happens because of the settings of Play Store. You will need to fix it from the application itself. However the easiest way to fix download pending error of Play Store is clearing cache and data of the application. You can tap on settings of your phone and then select apps from the settings menu. You will see all your apps listed there. Swipe down until you see the Play Store in the list and tap on Play Store icon.
Tap Force Stop first, then go to storage and clear cache and data from this section. Return to the main screen of your phone and run Play Store. Now you can begin to download the applications or you can also update them automatically.
Nettsted has very good solution for this problem but I had another experience. I have downloaded a few large games to my phone but I haven’t checked the storage. Then I have noticed that all my downloads are pending. I cleared cache and data of Play Store and change settings of the application but they didn’t resolve anything. My updates were pending and I wasn’t able to install any other application. I thought something broken with operating system and I was planning to send my phone to the official service of Samsung. However then I have seen a notification that I have not enough space on my phone. Then I removed some files and applications from my phone. Play Store was working perfectly after that. I recommend you to check your storage before changing your settings too.
