Does KakaoTalk send notifications when received a message?

I am not getting notifications when received a message on KakaoTalk. Is it normal or is it a problem to fix? I am very new with the application. Anyone know about this?

      This is not normal because you receive notifications when you receive a message from KakaoTalk. I believe you should try reinstall the application if you already check the settings of the app on your phone. To check settings of the application and notification settings you will need to follow this way: Apps > Settings > Apps > KakaoTalk > Notifications. Please also check other settings of the app on this part too.

      KakaoTalk was very glitchy at the last update. The same thing is happening to my phone. I have downloaded the old version of the application from APKPure and it fixed my problems. Now I am happy. However old version of the application stops to work some time later. I hope they will able to fix the problem at the next update.

      This is not very surprising because it is the worst coded application and messenger of the Android at the moment. I have still many friends there otherwise I would certainly uninstall it. To fix this problem, you will need to reinstall the app.

      Too many people faced with the same problem recently. I recommend you to not to download APKs. The problem occurs because of the recent update and it will be fixed soon.
