We need some information though. Someone only from your country can activate your account. If you can share your country with us, maybe you can find someone who is eligible to activate your account!

Yes it is. Unfortunately WeChat made an update for verification a few months ago. At the moment only people from your country and people from China mainland can verify your account. This made things tough for account verification process.
