I think this problem common. I gave up to fix it at all because it can’t be resolved at all. I just want to know that why Wechat asked me for verification with a friend after just registration.

I think this problem common. I gave up to fix it at all because it can’t be resolved at all. I just want to know that why Wechat asked me for verification with a friend after just registration.
Well, I think this is one of the most popular questions about WeChat. Wechat cares for security too much despite of people keep telling it is not secure since it is a Chinese app. Well, I don’t agree this at all. They do care for security of their current users and if you ever do a suspicious behaviour with your account, they block your account. Then they ask you to provide a reference from you. So you will need to find a referrer from your country or China mainland to activate your account. Otherwise Wechat will not let you to get inside.
While this is a good proof that application cares for security, it is also being very annoying with the new users of the application. Why? I believe there is something wrong with the application because some people are getting blocked by app soon after they register. This is without any reason. They need to fix this situation as soon as possible because they lose too many users. They also losing good opportunities with making more money through the application. Because I have seen that many business accounts have been deactivated because of security concerns.
Well, I believe Wechat is faced too much complaints with stealing personal data for a few years ago. I wouldn’t judge the app and devs because of security.
I agree with you at some points. However, this is still not very reasonable that they are blocking users without a reason. I haven’t done anything to get blocked! Generally apps block users who are violating their terms. They are not blocking people because they are suspicious.
